Fred Foy, best known for his fiery voice and intro of the masked man, The Lone Ranger, died of natural causes in Woburn Mass., according to his daughter. Fred Foy was an actor and latter became the narrator and the announcer for the "The Lone Ranger Radio and Television Show". His voice was magical an nobody could do the "Hi-Yo Sil-ver like Mr. Foy and he would gladly perform his rendition for anyone and especially children, just for the asking. As young boys, we love our superheroes. We aspire to be the Batman's and Superman's and dawn a cape and jump from fences and roof tops. And so, when one of our superheroes passes, a part of us reflects on those memories. Today's box office movies, Spider-man and Yogi Bear is evident that, though these animated characters are fictional;factually - we aspire in life to be the hero or heroine, for our family and friends, in our daily trials and battle the evil villain that life perpetrates upon us. Let us go back in time...
