(UPI) Covina, California (The Mexican Cafe's Club Arriba)
Last night was smoking as we celebrated our good friend Dj Vince's Birthday. Family and friends were on hand to welcome him to the big "38". We started off the festivities with a catered Mexican Cafe style buffet...it was delicious.
We rolled right into our dance lessons in the Karaoke Room. All the future "Dancing with The Stars" students were diamonds in the rough...future dance stars no doubt.
Dj Vince and Dj Freddy O, bedazzled us, with such an awesome display of showmanship on the turntables. Oh yes they did...They were the resident DJs of the night.
Dignitaries were in the house from Disco-Express and Disco-Legends. Cynthia was doing a mean Meringue, had there been a dance contest I would have awarded her a prize trophy Dan you had me cracking up last night with your wit and humor.
Alfredo impressed us with his Latino soul as he had us singing "Volver Volver" as he belted out a plethora of spicy tunes through out the night. Our Karaoke hosts, Raul and his partner, made the evening so exciting and yet layback. Even Rosa did a balled with Elvis, I mean Alfredo. They sure did have a vocal "Hunk of Burning Love" to give us all as they entertained us.
Frankie and Silly, you two had a lot of Latin soul last night. We were very impressed as you and Frankie got your groove on the dance floor. Sylvia and I were looking at each other and nodding our heads as if too say "They can dance" We have always known you to be good dancers, but last night you really let loose. It such a pleasure to see you both having a rocking good time.
Christine, I have always wanted to meet you. One because I enjoy reading your posts, but because it is such a surreal experience to meet some one on a message board and to see them become an administrators. It says that people see something in you. I saw the same talent with Blondie and Rosa(Moreno84) before they became administrators. Talent can be seen from afar.

Jerry Infinity my friend, your set had us off our chairs and up and dancing. All our Hustle friends jumped onto the floor. Please come back and play for us again.
The evening could not have been a success without all our supporting groups. We thank you Midnight-Desire, Disco-Legends, DiscoXpress, Elegant Disco, Jessio O and his staff, and everyone that contributed their time, sweat and NRG to making this venue surely successful, but more importantly great FUN
Again, we would like to thank Lucy and her staff at the Mexican Cafe's Club Arriba for their courteous and professional service they always provide for us.
Lastly and most importantly Vince, Freddy, what can I say but, it is such a pleasure to know you both. I know we will be friends for years to come.
We met so many pleasant and interesting people last night.
