Hi Rudy, First of all a very Happy Belated Birthday to your dad...I am so happy he is getting better and you had the opportunity to share another birthday with him..I'm sorry I haven't really posted but honestly I've been busy.. As for trying to have everyone to get along is not always easy but hey with a little patience nothing is impossible..I hope we get to see you at our next function.. Hugs to you and Sylvia Rosa M.
I had the pleasure of meeting someone who once said " If you try and I try...there's no telling how far we can go"
True Story:
Sylvia likes to go to concerts and was an amourous mood and feeling affectionate. After a few bottles of wine okay 4 bottles to be exact.
I arrived early at the Hop for a Malo Concert. Sylvia and I are usually the first ones in line to get in to see these concerts. We have our favorite seats and some people were sitting in the booth we normally sit at. I asked if I could join them while Sylvia went to go powder her nose. Anyways, I said," I am here to see the Malo Concert" the two other gentlemen replied "So are we." I stated" I hear this guy named Brenton Wood is playing next week and I hear he is pretty good."
One of the gentlemen replies, " I have heard him and I don't think much of singing talents." The other gentlemen breaks out into laughter. Then they both started laughing. I reply," What's so funny? The man who looked like he swallowed the canary replies "The man sitting next to you is Brenton Wood." My jaw dropped and you could have knocked be over with a diesel truck.
I reply " If your truly Brenton Wood, then let me hear you sing a few bars? He starts singing "Me and You" you know "If you try and I try"
Point being, treat everyone you meet like a king and a queen, because you never know who you are going to meet.
Sylvia had the pleasure of meeting and taking her picture with Brenton Wood. We would latter run into him at other concerts. I was flattered that he remembered us as the dancers.

Yes, I am Disco Sister Rosa I saw my father today, though he is paralyzed from one side and speaks with a slur, his sense of humor and wit is as sharp as a razor. I was a little slow catching on today, but he was capping and making fun of me today in such a suttle way that I did not think possible. He mind is as sharp as can be. He's become a comedian in his young age. Tomorrow he turns 74. What's in your wallet?
Rosa, On a serious note...I admire the work you are doing. As you say,we are not a collection of different disco websites, but a hopeful unity of one disco family.
